Statement
- 8/26/06 Today we begin a grassroots online organization established to
encourage Pat Buchanan to run for the GOP Presidential Nomination in 2008. It is
time to take the Republican Party back from elites and liberal special interests on
immigration and domestic policies at home and from the Neocons who have hijacked our
international and Middle East foreign policy.
We
are not endorsed by or affiliated
with Pat Buchanan and are an unincorporated organization and not a PAC
or 527. We don't want your money only your help to convince Pat that these perilous
times for our nation, heritage and the Republic require a dedicated effort to
restore our nation back to domestic and foreign policies that put the our
citizens first and the corporate special interests and politicians
second. Patrick J. Buchanan is the man
to lead this final effort to save and restore the Republic and return
personal liberty, individual responsibility and traditional conservative government back to our
nation.

Bush's War Is Turning Southern Women Away From the GOP - One GOP faithful compares Bush to Grant and we strongly disagree. Grant although on the wrong side of Lincoln's War was a successful and victorious general. We believe a better comparison of Bush and his complete failure at foreign policy would be with Lincoln who started an unnecessary war with 600,000 Americans paying the ultimate price.
Republicans Put Immigration on Hold - This is not surprising as the GOP only discovered the issue because they were trying to raise Bush's rock bottom place in the polls.

Buchanan/Mathews Ticket in 2008?

like Chris Mathews but would rather see Congressman Ron Paul.

yourself, though you might be more extreme than some, George Will,
Bill Buckley, when are you guys going to retake your party
from the neo-conservatives and stop these overseas campaigns?"
On Deck - Who Will the GOP Run in 2008? - A great article by Bridget Jones writing for the Los Angeles Daily News. Our three favorites in addition to Buchanan who wasn't mentioned is first Condoleezza Rice who is obviously a smart woman and a committed Christian but her expertise is foreign policy and the Bush foreign policy has been a disaster of the first degree. Second, is Newt Gingrich, of the Contract For America fame who we certainly like as an author of War Between the States novels but we have some problems with his policies. Last is Mitt Romney, who is obviously brilliant, personally conservative but politically more liberal and a Mormon. Will hard-core Christian conservatives vote for a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints? This is a big open question for Romney?

empires have ended why should American be any different. Pat has a plan to
restore America to a Republic and end our failed neocon led empire.
